Building collapses in Osun state



The building collapsed at Oke-Ayepe area of Osogbo, Osun State capital, when it was recorded that a 70 year-old man was injured pa Samuel osuntoyinbo and might have lost his legs as a result of the incident. It was reviewed that the building is about 100 years old and collapsed in the early hour of yesterday. Pa Samuel Osuntoyinbo was rescued due to the timely intervention of men and officers of the NSCDC in the state. The head of NSCDC said the victims of the building collapse were rushed to government hospital
by men of the Osun Ambulance Service, where they were still receiving medical
treatment.He advised all those living in old and dilapidated buildings to vacate them in the
interest of their safety.
